Unlike less complex biological or chemical production processes, it is not enough to merely have a cell line: Only if it is fundamentally suitable, adapted to the according process, and carefully “accompanied” during production, the desired results of proliferation or cell culture can be reliably achieved.

As a special advantage, the delivery of cell lines by CellTec always includes the required ancillary services. This ensures that problems can be minimized. The goal is to ensure maximum efficiency and enable low costs and predictable timelines by avoiding culture losses.

Our cells are delivered cryopreserved and generally also include documentation and SOPs for the intended proliferation and processing processes. Therefore, they are less suited for academic-experimental purposes and more for setting up a robust cell-based production workflow. Due to the traceability of each delivered cell line, it is generally possible to reorder identical cell lines.

In this way, repeated processes with identical parameters can take place, thereby eliminating efforts and risks for further adjustments.

In setting up our own cell bank with about 100 immediately available cell lines, we have placed particular emphasis on being able to offer cells from mammals and fish that are suitable for a variety of research and usage scenarios. The use of our cells enables:
